A New Year....

Well, Hello! It's been forever my dear blogger friends. Sorry for the delay. I think Christmas caught up to me. Oh... and what a Christmas it was! Four days chuck full of Lola-ness, THREE adorable nieces, parents, siblings, a newly-returned brother, grandparents, hugs, kisses, chocolate, and diet coke. What more could I ask for? NOTHING!

By the way... Niece number 4 is on her way! Daine and Steph are having a BABY GIRL! Although the new momma-to-be, grandma Jacki, and Kelly were jumping for joy... the boys were a little hesitant. Girls scare them, I think. I can't wait for this little miracle to come along and MELT our hearts. We are SO excited! Thanks to this little baby is in order. She decided to ease up on her mama. Steph is feeling a lot better.

New Years was great! Just chillin' in Syracuse with our family... one of the best places in the world. It could've only been better if we had seen ALL our family. But, let me tell you, those little girls offer some great entertainment. Who needs Dick Clark when you have them? Raegan is growing tremendously. Her new born clothes are actually fitting and her face is filling out quite nicely. She is soft, sweet, precious, and has the cutest button nose. I hold her for hours and stare at her and wonder what her personality will be like. I wonder what funny things she will say. I wonder how she will interact with her big sisters. She just makes me so curious. It's so fun to watch them grow. Raegan makes Lauren and Paityn look GINORMOUS! I can't believe how quickly they grow.

The Day after Christmas, Brooks had surgery on his wrist. A freak accident pre-mission has made for a miserable post-mission. Something about a cow throwing its head, and Brooks being in the wrong place and the wrong time (classic Brooks). But his hand has been causing some serious pain and the bone which was cracked lost its blood supply and died. The surgery went really well and the Doctors are hopeful it will heal nicely. Hayden has taken him on as his own patient. Twice-daily check ins, prescription updates, and dose frequencies are always the topic of conversation. And poor Brooks can't sit still to save his life. He is getting a mega-cast Friday that will hopefully prevent him from getting too crazy while he heals. He is moving to ST. George this coming weekend to continue school at Dixie.

Hayden and I have some exciting news, as most of you already know, we are buying a FARM! Hay and all. We've talked about this the last little while, but have kept it on the down-low (although our parents talk about it more then we do... the entire county already knows about it) but I just can't help myself anymore and I must post this information! We are SO EXCITED for this new adventure. Hayden is going to start working for Dr. Gagon in Price in September and this farm was a dream come true for us. It's located in Cleveland, Utah. As you can see on the map, its in the middle on no where. JUST RIGHT FOR US!!!!! It even comes with a bright red tractor ("That's a nnnnniiicceeee piece of machinery" my dad exclaimed) in which I am excited to learn to drive. Anyway, its 88 acres and has a very cute, cozy, and loving home. We are currently purchasing odds and ends for our renovation. Not a huge renovation, just cosmetic issues. We are loving the idea of having a home and kissing The Palladio Apartments goodbye. But, we will definitely miss our Salt Lake City. It will be a VERY fond memory forever. We will keep you posted.

As I look onward to 2008... there are so many things I'm looking forward to. The farm, Hayden's graduation, and our trip to Thailand. But one thing, which we hope for the very most, is a baby. Thank you to all our family and friends who have been praying for a miracle. We appreciate it more than you will EVER KNOW. I'm looking into this next year in hope that this dream will come true. And if not, we hope to open our arms to a baby who needs a mommy and daddy which I know we could love as our very own. We would be truly grateful for either. So with this thought, I sign off, Happy New Years to all, we love you, pray for you, and wish you every happiness in the world.

Kelly, I am so glad to see your blog. You look great. I love your hair dark. Congrats on the farm..where is cleveland. I imagine somewhere around price. Here is a little of what I have been up to since college. Preston and I have been married four years. We recently moved from Cedar Hills and we are currently living in Ogden and building our 2nd house in Fruit Heights, which is by Lagoon if you weren't aware. I am a stay at home mamma. We have two kids, Katelyn and Tate. They are the best thing ever. We are so so excited for our house to be done - we hope early March. That is all with me. Your nieces are so beautiful. I hope your prayers are answered soon and you will be blessed with a sweet baby. You will be a great mom. Thanks so much for commenting on our blog. It is so fun to hear from you. Hey, and if you don't already have their link I have Brandon Vandermyde's. On our blog go to Eric and Janae and on theirs go to Lindsay and Brandon. Adam was on there but it isn't anymore. It is so fun to see who you can find on these blogs. Have a good day!
