What the Behling's need...

I saw this on Nat's blog and it made me really laugh. So I tried it out. Go to google and put your name in and then the word "needs" after (i.e. Kelly needs) and search away. I choked on my toast I was laughing so hard! Good times! Here is what we need:

Kelly Needs:
-Her brother backstage (yes, I have always believed that I need Jesus in the wings.)
-A little guidance from Captain Kirk (this is when I choked on my first piece of toast. My dad's call name when boating is Captain Kirk. WOW- dad, looks like we need to have a one on one!)
-A quivering antenna (tune in Tokyo?)
-To grow up (no arguments there)
-A bartender (nuff' said!)

Hayden Needs:
-To be tortured (I couldn't agree more. Do you know how many times he pins me down a day and tickles me until I almost pee my pants?)
-To be slowly roasted over very hot coals (see above)
-A day & a night off (I couldn't agree more. Actually, he needs a vacation in the worst way!)
-Better looking sandals (Honey, this is a sign from above that those gray sandals that squeak really need to hit the trash!)
-A thong (this is when I choked on my second piece of toast. GO HAYDEN!)

Lola Needs:
-A home (Girl, you got a good home!)
-Some prozac (some nights, I couldn't agree more!)
-Quality high heeled shoes (girl, I feel ya!)
-A remodel and addition (we're about to get one, in good ol' C-town!)
-To take Patrick's money and buy herself a pair of eyebrows (Lola, what happened to your eyebrows? And who is Patrick? Have you been hiding something from mom?)

say it with me friends.... "YEEEEEEE HAAWWWW!"

It's official! We got our appraisal back today and we are buyin' the farm! Saddle up cowboy! We're SO excited! We close in three weeks! We have to be out of our apartment downtown by April 1st. So we are moving in with my sister, Tanner, and the girls for a couple months and then we are onto the big ol' C-town (aka Cleveland, Elmo, Cle-mo, Hel-mo, whichever you prefer). I talked to my work today and we are looking to go "online" the first of June so I will be ready to rock and roll from home. Hayden gets back from his Denver rotation the middle of May and then the rest of his rotations are in Price! It will be SOOO nice to have a house, my hubby, and our dog, and then in the fall, our baby! AWESOME is the word of the day! All you city folk better get a cowboy hat and plan on visiting the Behling Ranch!

Baby Update

I went to the Dr. today for my 10 week checkup. I was really nervous for some reason. My sister got up early, got all three of her girls ready, and hit the road to come with me since Hayden couldn't make it. She ended up STUCK in traffic on I-15. She ended up having to turn around after an hour on the road. I felt so bad. She is the best sister ever, I swear to you. Anyway, the Dr. came in and took out the doppler machine and I waited. All of the sudden I heard "THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP!!!" I looked at the Dr. and he said "There's your baby!" I was SOOOOO excited! I wish you could all hear it! It was amazing! He said everything sounded great. I've lost 8lbs. which is expected but he made me promise to be up a couple pounds at my next appointment. I better get eating :). Anyway, all is great! We are so excited!

Valentine's Day/Birthday

Here are some pics from our triple date with the Mawhinneys and Christensens. We went to Bre's for pizza. Both Hayden and Bre surpirsed me with a cake and candles. They are SO SWEET! After eating, we hit the movie. Seriously, I LOVE JUNO! Go see it. HILARIOUS! One of the best movies I've seen in a while.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

So anyone that has been around me during this Holiday knows the I LOVE VALENTINE'S DAY! I don't know what it is, but I adore it. It's so cool to see so many out there in love, expressing their love, and beaming with love. I am a very mushy, sensitive, sucker for romance so I think that has something to do with it. So I wanted to wish ALL of you a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY and to tell you that I LOVE YOU!

I must dedicate this blog to my sweet, dear, caring hubby. I couldn't have dreamed up a better husband. Thank you for loving me so much and being so sincere, loving, and adorable. You're an amazing man and you will NEVER know how much I love you. You're my whole heart. My everything. LOVE YOU BABE!

Pregnancy 101... I have A LOT to learn!

So, we are almost 9 weeks along. We are getting more and more excited and a little less nervous. Just a little. But ALL has been going really well. I've really lucked out and only experience sickness if I don't eat every 4 hours. But man, I am TIRED! I haven't ever been this tired in my life! I found myself asleep on my desk last week, drool on my file and all. EMBARRASSING! But, what can you do? So, I've been looking forward to this time of my life for so long and once it finally came I actually had a panic attack! I know NOTHING about being pregnant. Sure, my sister has been pregnant and I've heard much about it and I've had several friends experience it; But, until YOU are actually experiencing it you don't really realize what the human body is going through. Thank goodness for www.whattoexpect.com and www.thebabycenter.com or else I would be TOTALLY lost! I have to share this picture with you. These are all our pregnancy tests (even Hayden's). The lines are so light, you can't really see them, but I assure you, they are positive!

WE'RE PREGNANT!

Oh my goodness, after almost 3 years of trying we were FLOORED to find out that we are pregnant! We were so suprised! Three weeks ago, Hayden and I found out! After 5 tests and a negative control by Hayden (yes, he took a pregnancy test to make sure they were working!) we were SHOCKED! Is this for real? We went to our first Dr. visit last week because I'm considered high-risk. We saw the baby (there is only one!) and it's cute little heartbeat! I was just crying! We are so excited and are praying for this pregnancy to be smooth without problems. We know it's really early to tell people (I'm almost 8 weeks) but it's so hard when all your friends and family know you have been trying and seeing specialists. We just couldn't lie any longer. I acutally had an appointment with another specialist all lined up, and we had even picked up an adoption packet from LDS Family Services. And wouldn't you know... it happened. Thank you to all our friends and family for your constant support and prayers! We are so lucky to have you! Words cannot express how much your encouragement helped, especially during those really hard days. WE LOVE YOU!
