On December 8, 2007 a MIRACLE came to be with us and we are SO BLESSED. Her name is Raegan Ellie Cornell! She was born at 7:31pm, is 6lbs 13oz, and 19.5 inches long. She has beautiful dark hair and the cutest button nose. She is such a sweet little girl. She loves her mommy's touch and the sound of her daddy's voice. She also has the two proudest big sisters ever and one VERY PROUD Aunt and Uncle! We are so thankful to our Father in Heaven for sending us this little angel.

The Party....
Lauren's 5th Birthday party was fantastic! She had a great time and I don't think it's going out on a limb to say that she was spoiled rotten by her family. We love her so much! You can't help yourself but buy buy buy for them! She got some really cute clothes, lots of arts and crafts, lip gloss to last until her college years, and some fun toys and books. She was so happy! My mom made her a Hello Kitty cake since it's her favorite. How cute is she?
Here is a cute pic with her grandparents that love her more than words can express!
Pai scored a dollar from Granny Ollie... she was pretty pumped about it!
It was a great night! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAR! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

A Date With An Angel...
Last night, I took Lauren on a birthday date! She will be 5 going on 15. I wanted to take her out, just the two of us, and spend some time together. It's very rare that I get one on one time with my nieces and I am VERY grateful for that! But once in a while I think it's important to have some quality time together. I've decided to start a new tradition and take my nieces out on their birhtdays. So here we are... at the beginning of out date.
Now, for someone who has a dog that is practically a child to her... it's terribly hard to find a good baby sitter. But alas, I found a PERFECT baby sitter for Lola. I knew she would get an evening full of games, giggles, and adventures with her care taker.
I don't think you could find a better baby sitter with a face like this...
So after we were sure that Lola-kins was in good hands... we were off! On the way, Lauren talked a lot about school and her upcoming birthday. I think she is just a little excited! She decided the mall was our destination and a new outfit was her birthday wish. We conveniently walked right past Mrs. Cavanah's Chocolate Store and we quickly stopped and backed up a few steps to pick up a little bit of heaven. Then we were really ready to shop! We found a GREAT outfit and she was so excited! But what good is a cute outfit with out the perfect lip gloss? We were on the hunt. Lauren happened to see our dear Santa and wanted to watch him from afar for a little while. She started asking me all these questions about Santa, the wheels in her head were seriously turning. My response "Welp, we better get finding that lip gloss!" So we were off again. Finally, we found the perfect shade to match her new outfit. All that shopping made us two VERY HUNGRY GIRLS! Lauren picked Cafe Rio for dinner. If any of you want to plaster a smile on her face, you order that kid a quesadilla and a root beer and you are golden! She was SO excited! Here we are eating some YUMMY food!
After we had stuffed ourselves, we caught each other yawning... we were pooped! So back to the house we went. She was beaming the whole night. It meant the WORLD to me to have just a couple hours of her attention to myself. I will never forget it! Happy Birthday Lar- I love you babe!

My Babies....
Sorry it's taken so long to post these Halloween pics of the girls. Aren't they adorable? The one of Pai crying is her in a nutshell... gorgeous little butterfly distraught by something so small. She is so precious and sweet. Lauren is so beautiful. I'm telling you, she is growing into this gorgeous little girl and as we talk on the telephone she tells me about school, friends, and all things curious to her. I find myself thinking "is this really my baby Lauren?" Anyway, if you haven't gathered the fact that I absolutley love these girls by my previous posts... I will tell you again. I LOVE THESE GIRLS!
I just can't stand it. These pictures make me want grab my computer screen and suck on those cheeks! Isn't Tanner so cute? Love him!
I have to tell you about the funniest converstaion I had with a dear friend the other night (I'm leaving his name unmentioned because I don't want him to get in trouble!). I was talking to this friend about his adorable children. He instantly lit up with what seemed like the most energetic light bulb you could find. He was telling me about their sweet personalities and how much they are changing. Then he said something that froze me in my tracks and made me instantly say "OH CRAP! I DO THAT!" He was telling me about a realitive that calls his children "My babies" and how sometimes that's hard to hear as a parent because clearly they are yours. It was hard for him that someone else was trying to claim his beautiful children although I'm sure they mean it in the most endearing way. So, I started thinking, maybe I should ask my sister about this phrase. I've used it since day one with my nieces. Not that I am claiming them or taking credit for these amazing girls, but as a deep, endearing, heartfelt term. To me, they are my babies, they mean so much to me, they are a great part of my happiness. I love to be with them, teach them, love them, play with them, and hug and kiss them. I even cry at the stinkin dance recitals. I am SO PROUD of them. They are amazing. As I addressed this with my sister she was of course gracious and said she didn't mind at all and that she knew that I wasn't trying to take credit. She was happy that I love them so much. So proudly I claim them as my babies and everyday I try to be the best Aunt I can be. I re-assure them that I am always there for them, that I love them, and that they are the most beautiful girls in the world. That is pure bliss for me.

A Return Visit....
Well, this week was AWESOME! My honey was able to come home last Friday and stay the entire week! It was so great! I've missed him so much and it was pure bliss going to bed together and having my snuggle buddy back. It was SO NICE rolling over in the morning and he was there. Lola and I were in heaven! As he left this morning, I couldn't help but be blue. That is the downside of this whole process. I look around the house and it just feels empty. Lola and I stare at each other like something big is missing... and it is! But, luckily he will be returning to us in December and we will have him until April!
This weekend we were able to catch up with some great friends. Hayden's study budies, including spouses (minus Jenny, Aaron and Mary :( ) got together for some Mexican food and laughter. I don't know if Mexican food just brings it out of ya (in more ways than one) but somehow we ended up laughing hysterically over a bowl movement conversation that only PA students could appreciate. Then the conversation quickly moved from bowl movements to throwing up. Thankfully, the seating hostess was wise and didn't place anyone around us. It was a great time, but it would have been even better if our other groupies could have attended. I love getting together with great friends.
Sunday, Uncle Hayden's true colors were obvious. Since Aunt Kelly was out of it with a terrible stomach ache and headache, he drove up to Syracuse to watch Lauren in her Primary Program. Of course, she was an all star and Pai slept on Uncle Hayden's lap the entire time. I felt terrible for not being there, but was so grateful for an amazing husband that honestly loves those girls as much as I do (well, almost :) ).
This week will be great as my parents are in town. Pop pop has some meetings so ya ya came along to see her kids and I'm sure to get started on her Christmas wish lists. She has so many now. And they keep getting bigger!!
An update on the baby- Kristin's doctor is going to start her December 8th. WE CAN'T WAIT to see our little muffin-head! We are almost there and Kristin is such a tropper! With all her responsibilites, two kids, in dance, and in school, church, work, play group, etc etc... she always manages to glow. We are so excited for our little package to arrive!
We are also counting down the days for Brooks' return. 4 weeks from today and we will be squeezing him! CRAZY! We can't wait to have our cowboy back!
That's it from us for now... pics to come!!!

Powell
After four months of planning, waiting, planning, waiting a little more, our family vacation FINALLY arrived! We had an awesome time at Powell, although it was cut short due to a MAJOR storm which happened to poop all over Utah! Dang! But it was still a blast and the few days it was sunny we were in heaven! I have missed Lake Powell so much and it was so good to be back. I think Powell will always be my favorite vacation destination. I can't help but feel like I am home. Powell roots run deep in my blood. Here are some pics from our fun weekend.
Gracie
Grandma Doris decided it was time for a dog and after seeing our Lola-kins she wanted one like her (can you blame her, I mean, she is adorable!) Anyway, so we got her a little Shih-Tzu named Gracie. We had her for the weekend before she went to her new home. The girls came down and Uncle Hayden babysat while the family went to Cousin Rachel's wedding. Needless to say, they were is doggie heaven! So cute!
Some Summer Sun and Fun!
These pics are from a couple months ago, but I wanted to post them because they are so CUTE! Hayden and I LOVED taking the girls swimming this summer. It was our favorite pastime. Lar is getting braver and braver and has officially graduated from hesitant wader to full on dare devil. Of course, Pai is still a little hesitant and likes to wade is the shallow end. Her time will come:)
BreAnne and Baby!
Well, after a long road of trying and hoping and praying and keepin' the faith, BreAnne and Sean are expecting a boy in January! We are SOOOO excited for them and can't wait to see their little bundle of love and shower him with kisses! Here are some growing belly pics of BreAnne. Isn't she adorable? What amazing parents they will be!!!

Anybody hungry?
Ok, so for those that know me, somewhat well, you know I am a steak and taters girl. I've never loved veggies, fruits, or fish. Give me a T-bone steak and baked potato any day! Well, once in a while, I get a wild hair and decide to be adventerous. Shockingly, I love Sushi. Now, if you grew up in Ferron and said, "Lets go have Sushi for dinner" you would run into to major problems. 1) 99.9% of us Ferron-ites would say "What's Sushi?" and 2) there aren't any Sushi restaurants for 250 miles. There might be one a little closer, but it would probably not be one I would risk eating at. So, when I discovered my love for Sushi I passed it onto my family and friends who all get that look on their face, you know, the once you pull right before you hurl. Anyway, so I haven't been out for Sushi for a while. Hayden LOVES to be adventurous when it comes to food. His mission changed him in SO many ways, and his love for strange and weird eats is a major change. Last night we took a quick brisk walk to Takashi for dinner. It was FABULOUS! Anyone looking for a great Sushi meal, GO... GO NOW! We had an amazing "Fish and Chips" dinner (which is NOT the standard fish n chips, it's broiled, breaded salmon). We also had a strange "deconstructed california roll" which wasn't my favorite, but still interesting. We also LOVED the crispy ebi roll. YUM! Anyway, I wanted to post this recommendation. And family, get ready, put them overalls in the drawer and get up here so I can take you out to Takashi! YUM!

It's been a while....
Since I've posted a blog. It's like journal writing for me. I do really well for a while and then I just forget about it. I have killer slacker instincts, it's something I have fought with my whole life and I have to continually push myself to keep going with something I've started. But, I am remaining faithful and I will keep this blog alive dang it!
Is it just me or does anyone else just absorb and love the change of seasons? As the trees are changing I realize how much I love fall. It's one season that I actually get really excited for. It almost sedates me. I feel relaxed and cozy. I flash forward to the upcoming Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Holidays and get so excited as they are filled with many Birthdays and family get togethers. This year is especially cool as a new little but very big addition will be coming to our family. It makes this fall season just that more exciting. On top of the newest addition, we will have the return of a very important family member. Brooks will be coming home to us on the 19th of November and we are all so anxious to squeeze him. What an amazing man he has turned into. The emails never cease and they always have me repeat the same phrase in my mind "is this still Brooks?" It's amazing how the service of the Lord refines these young men and turns them into righteous men. Two people, that I have been waiting to see, I will be able to squeeze just within a couple weeks of each other.
I keep thinking about our growing family. I think about how Lauren and Paityn are going to be such good big sisters. I think about nuzzling and loving this new little baby. One of my GREATEST joys of my life has been loving and sharing my life with my little girls. I love being with them, teaching them new things, and being their favorite aunt :). I just get overwhelmed with gratitude when I think of the immense blessing of having another.
Hayden is doing so well is Price. He is really loving it there. It's made this whole process so much easier. I'm not saying its been easy, but it lightens the load when you know someone that you love and admire and think about minute in and minute out is happy and successful and really loving what they are doing. I am so proud. I really think sometimes I am the proudest wife on earth. Never mind the school aspect, I am just so proud of my husband. He is so amazing in every way. I have no problems gushing over such a wonderful man.
I leave you will lots of happy fall wishes. Take a drive up the canyon, its amazing! More pictures are coming soon.....

You might be a redneck if.....
You live in a travel trailer behind a hospital with the sewer hose jimmy-rigged with car ramps and a purple bike chained to the front. Or, you might just be Hayden and Kelly Behling! That's right! After discussing the benefits of being on call and getting to see all the "cool stuff" that comes into the hospital in the wee hours of the morning, Hayden decided to move to Price to be closer. But, we couldn't imagine having to pay rent in Price for him, and for me in SLC. So, meanwhile, Hayden discovers the back parking lot of the hospital has trailer hookups! Which is conveniently located 1/2 block from the clinic where he is working. AMAZING! So, he got grandpa's trailer, hooked er' up, and drug her to her new home until December. It has worked out perfectly. Hayd has a place to get away for a few seconds and can walk to work. I took the trip down the Price this last weekend and stayed with him. It was so fun and Lola loved it! It felt like we were on a big adventure, dog in tow, just the two of us, to Castleview Hospital. It was awesome! While Hayden delivered babies, I assumed the "wife" roll that I love and cleaned "house"; Stocked his fridge with some food and did laundry at the in-laws. It was perfect. I honestly can say that I look forward to my next "big adventure" in the trailer. It was so great!

The Farewell Weekend
Here are some pics from last weekend. This one is from the The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird where Hayden and I stayed. It was beautiful! We had a fan-freakin-tastic dinner! Of course, I had steak, and Hayden had Ono. (Some Asian Fish?). We had a beautiful room and it was so nice to just be there together, no phones, no homework, just us. Ahhhhhh! The next day we hit the alpline slide and the zip rider! It was great! Our great friends Aaron and Mary watched our Lola while we escaped. She had SO MUCH fun with her boyfriend Bodhi. Although she was happy to see us, she was sad to leave him. She obviously had a good time because this is how Hayden and I found her a couple hours after getting home...She is currently trying to grow out her bangs (girl, I feel your pain!) and Hayden had a great idea to tie ribbons in her hair... how sweet is this....
Anyway, on Sunday night we had Hayden's close ring of school friends over for a Bon Voyage Thai food dinner. We had such a great time. It was a little sad, I already miss the funny stories from the study group, but I know they are all enjoying being out in the field instead of trapped in the classroom. Here are some pics from our fabulous evening... P.S., yes I am wearing safety goggles, I get serious irritation in the eye area after frying spring rolls. Thanks Kristin for saving my corneas!
