First of all, Sorry for the last two post titles. I've excited some of you to thinking the baby has come and it hasn't! Hope this one didn't fool you! Well, we went to the Dr. today. I'm at a 1 and 50% effaced so great progress from only 6 days ago. I hope it continues. My next appointment is Thursday and he will be stripping my membranes. OUCH. Sounds like it hurts and from what I hear, it does. But we are ready for this little guy to join us here on earth, so strip away! Even though the progress isn't HUGE, it's still something which makes me really happy. My sweet aunt Jamie has started walking with me at night. I'm trying to do everything on my part to get things a movin'! Last night I was having SERIOUS braxton hicks contractions while walking. I thought my belly was going to explode! It gets harder than bricks... it's crazy! Anyway, I am really looking forward to tomorrow. It's the annual Peach Days celebration in Ferron. Some good friends of ours were selected as the Grand Marshal's of the Parade so I'm excited to see them ride down the street on a float in all the glory! Plus, I look forward to the demolition derby all year long! I can't wait! All for now, Kelly

I was holding my breath when I read "Baby Update" thanks for keeping me posted. I thought of you as soon as I woke up this morning, thinking you were probably feeling pretty miserable about now- hang in there!
I know many people who swear my having a pregnancy massage to induce labor. Only certain massage therapists do it and it is based on using certain pressure points? Could be a total myth, but hey, if it doesn't work, you still get a much-needed massage!
I am bummed we missed Peach Days! The Demolition Derby is very close to my heart... maybe next year.
Hang in there, I'm thinking of you.

kell I was praying he was here because I know how anxious you are!!!! I am so excited for you guys. Good luck. PLEASE give a update of little danzer when he arrives! love you! mel
Kelly, I am a massage therapist, and the thing your friend is talking about is the reflexology points on your feet that you can stimulate. The reflex points for the uterus are on both feet on the inside of the ankles, between the ankle bone and the back of the heel.
I'm not promising that it will "induce" labor, but if your body is ready, then it could help things to move along.
You could probably use a foot massage anyway, right? Worth a try!
I'm so excited that you've almost got that baby in your arms!
Demolition Derby. I love it. I think The Blingies should open there very own Demolition Derby Depot at their home and then you could make money and have Demolition Derbies all year long.
Look forward to seeing the Blingies, can hardly wait. Lots to catch up on and lots of water to tend. Again, can't wait.

Okay here is something that you should try.....BEFORE they strip your membrane....yikes! Castor oil, It works...I totally took it and I would do it again in a heart beat!
No don't do castor oil, you will have very hard contractions. I did acupressure to get Taylor. Massage the pressure point in between your finger and thumb, and do lots of walking. But truthfully I think they come when they are ready. I am so excited for you, I can't believe I did not see you yesterday. I am sad now. Good luck at the Dr. I will talk to you later.
You just get it at like wal-mart. I did have symptoms but not too bad. All my sisters have taken it so I knew what I was getting in to and was totally willing! I wanted him out! Don't be scared. Just so you know, I wasn't even dialated at all when I took it. By the time I got to the hospital I was a 4+. I took it at 3:00pm and was on the way to the hosptial at 10:00pm. I am not pressuring you, just giving you some facts about my labor. You will know if it is okay, your motherly instincts are already starting to kick in! But let me know!!
Woo Hoo! Let the official countdown begin! I hope you are doing good and hanging in there. Patience, patience, patience girl! Little Danzer will be here before you know it! I am so excited for you. Danzer is the luckiest boy in the world to have you and Hayden as parents. Keep going on lots of walks and go get a mani and pedicure. You'll want to look at your cute toes during labor. They'll be the only 'happy' thing to look at in the room while you're feeling all the pain. ;)
Love you guys!!!!!
About that stripping, just breathe and expect the worst-maybe it won't be that bad! But in the four times I had it done, holy cow! Just breathe! And keep us updated, we're all excited to get the news that he is here! Oh yeah and eat before you go to the hospital, I was starving and they don't let you eat!
Yay! You're making progress! Ya know, I really don't remember the stripping of the membranes hurting. And I'm the biggest wus you'll ever find. So...there's a little hope for you on that part.
I ONLY had braxton hicks contractions with my first. The doctor checked me for the first time and told me I was dialated to a 7 and having this baby NOW! And I had no idea! Never even felt a contraction. That time at least. I always had mine early, so I never had to try to get my labors going. So, I'm no good for any advice. Sorry.
How was Peach Days? Our boys went to it with grandma. I heard the derby wasn't that great. Only 7 cars or something? The boys were a little disappointed in that.
Anyway...hang in there. You're almost there! I am so excited for you guys. You will be such great parents. This little boy is very lucky. Good luck!
Yea Kelly! It is almost time! I am so happy for you guys! I'm sorry that I don't have any advice to give since I never had contractions and had a C-section. All I can say is good luck and you will be fine! You really forget all about the pain & misery you go through once that baby is in your arms. Keep us updated! We love you!
Hey Kelly! So close...I swear-Heavenly Father made us this way so we forget about the pain and just get the kid OUT! I swear I would try anything to get my kids out. I really got tired of sharing my body! I am so excited to see him! You will just bawl when you see him and that is OK! Sure thinking of you! Love you!

At least you are making progress.. I started closing back up... yeah who would have thought. As soon as the baby is out you don't feel anything and you'll forget just about everything. You can try walking or eating spicy food if the heart burn isn't too bad... I hear that works once in a while (didnt' work for me so I can't say if it worked or not!) Good luck and keep us posted. You'll do great and just remember TO BREATHE, Hayden will be there with you so you wont have to worry about anything!
Peach days...ahh...FUN! I'm jealous. Danzer's room looks amazing but you are amazing so no surprise here. The story about the recliner is so fabulous. I got a little teary eyed myself and I'm not pregnant! I miss you. I'm so excited for Mr. Danzer to get here so I can kiss his face off. Wahoo. Oh- CONGRATS Hayden. You look so official and the sign w/ your name is so surreal. We are all so grown up it's killing me. Love ya! Bre
Two words. Yoga ball. worked for me! She was 7 days early!! Good Luck! I'm so excited for you.
