Two Peas In A Pod...

I couldn't help but capture this picture yesterday morning. I wish you could see Danzer's face better... but they are identical! When they lay next to each other I can't believe how much they look alike. They are so cute!! They both enjoy snoozing as well. So does mom :).

Weekend trip...

This last weekend we made a quick trip to St. George to see Daine, Steph, Cousin Kaicee, and Brooks! It was so much fun!! Wish we could have stayed longer. I seriously miss St. George. On Sunday we went to the park and had a picnic. It was GORGEOUS! Nothing beats St. George weather. You can't help but love that place. Check out CUTE Grandma Jacki and her grandkids! Isn't she adorable? She is such a wonderful grammy!
Hayd and Daine with their kids.... I can't believe they are both dads! We are so grown up!

Check out Danzer in his Harley duds! Thanks John and Ging for the ADORABLE outfit! We love it!

Happy Birthday Bubba-Kins!!

Can you believe it? Our little man turned one month on Saturday. WOW! It's gone by so fast... but at the same time... it seems like he's been apart of us forever. He is seriously the sweetest thing alive. UH! I just find myself holding him, starring at him, kissing him, and squeezing him all day long. It's really hard to get things done... I just don't want to put him down! Happy Birthday Bubba-kins! Mom and Dad LOVE YOU!

Love to ya sista'

So many of you know my sister, and for those of you that don't... you are seriously missing out. I had the chance to live with her and her fam this summer and I've had serious with drawls since I left. I tell you, she is ABSOLUTELY my idle. You know how you have someone in your life that you just look up to, want to be like, want to be around... because every time you are you just feel at "home." That's how I feel about her. She makes my heart happy. She always makes me laugh, lets me cry, gives amazing advice, and is so thoughtful of others... I just can't get enough of her. I have SERIOUSLY missed her these past few months. I kept thinking it would get better, but in fact, it gets worse. I think about her and her family constantly and wonder what she's doing. I wonder how her day is going and what's going on in her life. And although she is only a phone call away, it by no means replaces a hug from her. Anyway, I just wanted to give her a shout out and tell you all that I know without a shadow of a doubt that I have the best sister on the planet. I am so BLESSED that she chose me to be my sister. I love her with ALL my heart!

Our first big adventure!

Two weekends ago, Danzer, my parents, and I ventured to the city to visit my sister, Tanner, and the girls! It was SO much fun! I can't believe how big my nieces have gotten. They pretty much love Danzer. It's so cute to see them take care of him. My sister had some serious bonding with our babe and it brought tears to my eyes several times to see her with him. She's waited a long time for this little guy and now she understands how much I love her girls!! She is so great with him and is such a good resource for me. She is an amazing mother and I know that if I have any questions, I can always turn to her. On Saturday I pretty much laid around her house. I got mastitis, it was TERRIBLE. I felt like I had the stomach flu but without the throw up part. I body ached, I had the chills, a fever, and not to mention that my 'you know what' felt like it was going to throb off my body. I'm feeling much better now thank goodness. My family took care of my little one while I slept. I tell ya, I have the best family in the entire world! Here are some pics from our weekend!

Who knew boys could be so beautiful?

Before Danzer was born, I promised Hayden I wouldn't call him "honey" or that I wouldn't say "he's so beautiful!" but we both can't help it! He's so cute!!! My heart should be a puddle on the floor by this point because everyday he melts it more and more! Things are going SO GREAT now! He's sleeping so good and although he still spits up, the projectile vomit phase has passed. It's amazing what some sleep and prayer can do for a girl! Here are a couple pics of him...

Life as a Mama- Part II

Danzer has filled our hearts beyond belief. He is now 2 1/2 weeks old... and although I can't believe it's been that long already... it also seems like time has been creeping by. We have been trying to fit into the new role as parents and figure out what the heck we are doing! Nursing didn't work out... we had to many issues and after a very stressed baby, daddy, and VERY STRESSED mommy... we decided to go to formula. We thought we had solved all our problems. Our little guy has a very sensitive stomach (he was doomed right from birth because Hayden and I both have terrible tummys!). Formula has been hard on him and throw up has become our new best friend. One night, he yacked so hard it flew out of his bassinet out onto the floor! Watch out is all I have to say! I warn everyone.... I think I need to have stickers made up to stick on his chest saying "WARNING: Projectile vomit... hold at your own risk!" He seems to be getting better though.

Last Wednesday we took him in for his 2 week checkup. He has gained a few ounces and grew an inch! He is growing so fast already. He is opening his eyes a lot more and I love to talk to him as he watches my face. He also got circumcised at his 2 week checkup. It took ALL I had not to gag. SERIOUSLY! Who came up with that? OK, yes, I know it originates from Jewish culture... but who thought of that? What complete torture. He cried only a little and didn't seem to be too bothered by it... but I was seriously disturbed!

For all my mother friends out there... I know you understand the hormones and ups and downs of motherhood. I had to go visit the doc last week as I've been having extreme anxiety attacks at night. I feel like I've gone mental. I know it's not me, and I know it will get better, but I never expected to feel this way. I've always LOVED babies and have been so comfortable with them. But I never imagined how overwhelming and intimidating it can be to have your OWN baby. All I need is a lot of time and a lot of prayer. Thank GOODNESS for our wonderful families... especially our parents for helping us. But I must tell my mother how much I appreciate her. I could not have survived without her! And to my sister... for giving me therapy over the phone... even late at night when she has spent a full day herself in mothering mayhem. I LOVE YOU ALL!

Danzer is the most wonderful little man. He smells like heaven and his little cries, wimpers, noises, and mannerisms just melt my heart. We are SO GRATEFUL to have him and still can't believe this little miracle is ours! All for now- Kelly

Cousin Kaicee and Danzer

Daine, Steph, Kaicee and Brooks came up this weekend. They got to meet baby Danzer for the first time! It was so much fun to have two babies!! Kaicee and Danzer are best buds already! Check them out in their cute outfits...

Uncle Brooks seems to love the two babes!
It was so fun to have us all together! My mom and dad took Danzer one night and Tracy and Jacki took him the other. It was so nice to get some good rest. Now it's back to real life!
